"It syncs well across my devices, at..."
It syncs well across my devices, at least from what I can tell. I keep wondering if I’m missing something, but so far it’s been working fine on both my laptop and phone

"Tired of Waiting on Support"
I’m just worn out from having to chase support for such a basic question. It took days to get a simple reply, and by the time they finally got back to me, I was already over it

"So I tried selfauthoring because I was…"
So I tried selfauthoring because I was feeling kind of stuck and needed a bit more motivation. It did help me slow down and think through what I actually want and why, which I appreciated. Some parts felt a little repetitive though, and it definitely took longer than I thought it would. Overall, it was useful, just not something I’d say completely changed my life

"Actually finished it this time lol"
This helped me get way more done than I thought I would. I kept expecting to drop off like usual, but nope... actually finished it this time.

"Refund was easier than expected"
I ran into a billing issue and reached out about getting a refund. Support got back to me quickly, and they handled it without making me jump through a bunch of hoops. The money took a few days to show up on my card, which is kind of expected with banks anyway. All in all, it was straightforward and fair, which is really all I was hoping for

"Honestly, it just hit different"
I didn’t really go into this expecting a lot. I just needed something to help me get all the stuff in my head a little more organized. Some of the questions felt kind of intense, but not in a bad way, more like they made me pause and actually sit with things for once. It’s hard to explain, but it brought up stuff I didn’t even realize I kept circling back to. It’s not some magic fix, obviously, but it did help me notice a few patterns and make some changes that actually mattered to me. I’m glad I tried it

"Super easy to use"
As someone who likes clear direction and doesn’t want to overthink every step, I really appreciated how easy these prompts were to follow. They felt straightforward, helpful, and actually made the whole process smoother.

"Actually worth the time"
Knocked this out over a few evenings and, it wasn’t some giant pain in the ass. Didn’t take too much time, and in the end it was actually worth it. Damn solid experience overall

"Simple to Use Overall"
I thought it might be a little awkward to figure out, but it ended up being straightforward. The steps were clear, and I didn’t really feel lost while writing. It still took me a bit of time to get through everything, but the site itself was easy enough to use.

"Actually helped me communicate better"
I wasn’t totally convinced Self Authoring was going to do much, but I’ll admit it ended up helping more than I expected. After going through it, my partner and I started having more honest conversations about what we both wanted, instead of just circling around the same old arguments.

Writing everything out felt kind of awkward at first, and I almost didn’t stick with it. But it did make me notice some patterns I kept falling into, and I’ve been calmer and clearer when we disagree. It didn’t fix everything, obviously, but for such a simple tool, it had a real impact on our relationship

"and it’s interesting, but I’m not fully sold on the science"
i did enjoy the exercises. They helped me slow down a bit and think more clearly about a few goals I’ve been working through. That said, I’m still not totally convinced by the science side of it. I know there’s some research around expressive writing, but the site doesn’t really break down the evidence in a way that made me feel super confident. It feels useful overall, just maybe not as proven as it sometimes makes itself sound. I’d say 3 stars is fair

"Useful overall, but maybe a bit pricey"
I found the program useful, and it did help me think through my goals a bit more clearly. I made it through most of it, so I definitely got some value out of it. That said, for what it offers, it maybe feels a little on the expensive side. The website also seems kind of dated and basic, which isn’t a huge deal, but it did affect the experience a bit. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s bad at all, I’m just not totally sure I’d pay the same price for it again...

"I was in a reflective mood when..."
I was in a reflective mood when I started writing things out, it helped more than I expected. Seeing my life story on the page made it feel less messy and a bit easier to sit with. I started noticing certain choices and patterns in a way that actually made sense to me.

"Actually surprised me, especially after finishing it recently"
I didn’t expect much going in, but I just finished selfauthoring recently and it’s still kind of sticking with me. It really made me slow down and think through things I usually brush off. Some of the questions were tough, but in a good way, like they pushed me to notice patterns in my life I hadn’t really paid attention to before. It does take some time, so it’s not something I’d rush through, but based on how I feel right now after doing it, I’d say it was worth it

"Helped Me Get My Goals Straight"
I tried Self Authoring because, my goals were kind of all over the place. You know when you have a bunch of ideas in your head but no real plan? That was me. The questions forced me to slow down and actually put into words what I wanted, instead of just thinking about vague possibilities. Some parts took a little while and felt a bit repetitive, but isn’t that kind of the point when you’re trying to get clear on something? By the end, I had a much better idea of what I want to focus on over the next few months. Definitely worth it for me.

"Progress tracking keeps me coming back"
I’ve been using selfauthoring.com for a little while now, and the progress tracking is one of the main reasons I’m still sticking with it. It’s nothing flashy, but being able to see what I’ve finished and what I still need to do really helps me stay on track. Writing this stuff can get messy fast, so that little bit of structure makes a difference. I’m happy with it so far, though if the tracking ever got confusing or stopped working well, I’d probably look for something else.

"Structured, but not quite what I expected"
The program is laid out well, and I can see how it would help if you really like step-by-step writing. But i felt a little misled because I expected something more flexible or engaging. Some sections repeat the same ideas, and the whole thing feels a bit too boxed in for my taste.

"It actually felt personal"
I liked that the questions made me write about my own life, not just random generic stuff. It took a little while—well, maybe more than a little, but it helped me get my thoughts in order. Useful if you actually take the time to sit down and do it.

"More Intense Than I Expected"
I didn’t expect this to be as intense as it was. Some of the questions really made me slow down and think about things I usually avoid or just brush off. It took me a few sessions to get through everything, and I do wish the instructions had been a little clearer in a few spots. But overall, it felt worth it. It’s not some magic fix, but it did help me look at my past and my goals in a more thoughtful way.

"I like what Self Authoring is trying..."
I like what Self Authoring is trying to do, and I can see the value in it, but using it on my phone got annoying quickly. The pages felt cramped, and typing out longer responses was clunky enough that I kept losing patience. It technically works, but the whole time I was wishing I’d just waited to use my laptop instead. It’s not terrible, but the mobile experience definitely left me more frustrated than impressed.
